Lucky Mayo woman wins bumper holiday prize

A Mayo woman was the lucky winner of a holiday in Gala Retail’s Home or Away store promotion recently.
Marie McDonnell from Foxford landed the bumper prize of a holiday voucher worth €4,000 after she was selected from a large number of nationwide entries.
Gala Retail launched the promotion and gave its loyal customers, across the country a chance to win one of 25 holiday vouchers to celebrate 25 years in business and serving communities.
The promotion, which ran throughout the months of February and March, offered shoppers the opportunity to enter by spending over €10 in any of the participating Gala Retail stores.
Entrants had the chance to win one of 10 family holidays abroad, valued at €4,000 each, or one of 15 holiday vouchers for unforgettable Irish staycations, each worth €2,500.
Marie entered the competition in her local Gala store and was one of the lucky shoppers who won one of 10 family holidays abroad.

The Home or Away promotion, which ran from February 5 to March 17, received overwhelming participation and support from customers across the country.
