Great Place to Work certification for Sligo hotel

The Ocean Sands Hotel in Enniscrone is proud to announce the hotel has achieved official Great Place to Work certification on the first attempt.
The prestigious accolade is solid recognition of the great team and positive work culture at the seaside hotel, which is among the most popular on the western seaboard.
Great Place to Work is the global authority on workplace culture and certification is based entirely on confidential employee feedback. Staff complete anonymous Trust Index surveys, with organisations needing to achieve a score of more than 65% positive responses in order to qualify - making this a significant achievement for any business.
A mix of full-time and part-time employees from the team of more than 70 staff members took part in the survey. The assessment focuses on five key areas: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride, and Camaraderie - measuring both trust in management and employees’ overall experience at work.
Some of the feedback highlighted in the report is particularly positive for the hotel:
• 97% feel the management is approachable and easy to talk with;
• 93% say new team members are made to feel welcome;
• 92% feel good about the ways the Ocean Sands contribute to the community;
• 88% think this is a fun place to work;
• 85% think the Ocean Sands is a friendly place to work.
