Gardaí appeal for witnesses following fatal Mayo crash

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic accident that occurred on the N26 at Callow, Foxford yesterday evening, the 2nd July, 2024.

Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 5.45pm where a car and a truck had been involved in a serious collision. The driver of the car, a female aged in her 40s, and a passenger of the car, a female child, were fatally injured in the collision.

The road was closed for a technical examination to be conducted but has since fully reopened.
