Fianna Fáil to host centenary dinner in Mayo
Minister Dara Calleary said the dinner will be an opportunity to reflect and celebrate the achievements of Fianna Fáil.
Mayo Fianna Fáil will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party with a special Centenary Dinner on Saturday, September 12th, at the Great National Hotel, Ballina.
Invited guests include Minister for Public Expenditure Jack Chambers, Deputy Shane Moynihan TD, Chair of the Fianna Fáil Centenary Committee, Teresa O’Malley, Head of News Midwest Radio and James Laffey, Editor, Western People and former Mayo-based Fianna Fáil Oireachtas members.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for Fianna Fáil members, present and past, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party,” said local Minister Dara Calleary TD. “It is an opportunity for us all to reflect and celebrate the achievements of Fianna Fáil, nationally and locally, across 100 years of public service, and to remember especially those dedicated party members and supporters who are no longer with us but who’s legacy remains an inspiration for all present-day members.
