An extension of the Quay in Ballina has been confirmed.
A new, extended pontoon is being installed at the Ballina Quay as part of a €100,000 investment in the facility.
It will allow for the expansion of boating and water sports activities and has been funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
Minister of State Dara Calleary welcomed the news.
