On a beautiful sunny Easter Saturday morning, surrounded by the magnificent gardens of Enniscoe House, the inaugural event of Mayo Autism Camp (North Mayo Group) was launched at the North Mayo Heritage Centre.
It was a fantastic success where over 40 children and their families enjoyed lots of Easter activities including an Easter egg hunt.
Mayo Autism Camp founders Colette Heaney and Elisha Sweeney were delighted to support the North Mayo Group in ensuring that all families had an enjoyable time. Colette Heaney thanked the volunteers from the North Mayo group for the considerable amount of work they have invested in setting up the group, organising fundraising events and for the amazing Easter family day out.

Elisha Beattie, of the Mayo Autism Camp (North Mayo Group) thanked everyone for the support they had received from businesses and families in the North Mayo area. It was this support that made the Easter event possible. The group is looking forward to the next event which is planned towards the end of April to mark Autism Awareness month.
