Corrib Oil opens new store in Ballina
Ballina is set for the grand opening of its new Corrib Oil store on the Killala Road today, Friday, August 14, with a full day of celebrations planned for customers.
The new store will open its doors from 6am, with the official launch taking place at 11am. Midwest Radio will be broadcasting live from the store as Corrib Oil marks the special occasion.
There will be plenty happening throughout the day, with activities, giveaways, special offers and treats planned for customers and families who come along to check out the new store.
Smooch will be giving out free ice cream samples, while visitors will also have the opportunity to sample products from the in-store bakery and snack counter.
There will be a chance to win some great prizes as part of the opening celebrations.
Customers who spend €20 or more in store will be in with a chance of winning a set of jerseys for their club team, a Corrib Oil gift card, a television and a Mayo GAA jersey.
There will be plenty to keep younger visitors entertained too, with face painting and balloons adding to the fun.
And there is certainly plenty to discover inside the new Killala Road store.
From the Corrib Deli, serving a selection of hot and cold food, to the hot buffet bar and even a Blue Thunder takeaway counter, there is something to suit just about every appetite.
Customers can also pick up groceries, sandwiches, salads, and snacks, whether they are looking for something for dinner on the way home from work or something to keep them fuelled for a long car journey.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Smooch counter offers 99s, milkshakes and special treats, including Biscoff Supreme and Kinder Swirl ice cream cups.
If coffee is more your thing, there is plenty to choose from too, with the machines serving up everything from a classic Americano to an iced latte with vanilla syrup.
Once you've picked up your food or coffee, there is space to sit down and enjoy it, with both indoor and outdoor seating available.
The store also has an off-licence, adding to the range of products available under one roof.
The Ballina opening is another milestone for Corrib Oil, which was founded by the Dalton family in Claremorris in 1987.
What began with a team of just eight people has since grown into a business employing approximately 1,300 people across its retail and oil divisions.
The new Ballina outlet will be the 43rd Corrib Oil store in Ireland and will create 50 full and part-time jobs locally.
Make sure to pop down to Corrib Oil on the Killala Road today as Ballina welcomes its newest business to town.
