Celebrations in Ballina with €500k EuroMillions Plus win

A EuroMillions player in Mayo has woken up €500,000 better off after scooping the top prize amount in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.
The Mayo player became the biggest EuroMillions winner in Ireland after purchasing their ticket on the day of the draw at Casey’s Londis on the Circular Road in Ballina.
Store Manager Valerie Horan was thrilled to hear the good news: “We have a lot of local customers here in Ballina so we really do wish the winner all the luck and health for the future with their big win. It’s great news for the community and of course, it’s exciting for the shop here. We are all over the moon for the winner!”
The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers in the Tuesday 17th October draw were: 08, 09, 14, 27, 42.
The Mayo winner, who now has a ticket worth €500,000, has made contact with the National Lottery and arrangements are now being made for them to claim their prize.
While over 39,000 players in Ireland won prizes across the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws last night, it was a player in Portugal who won the overall jackpot on offer which was worth an astonishing €67,318,140.

In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 36 years ago.
