ALERT: Motorists advised of upcoming disruptions on busy stretch of road

Mayo County Council have advised there will be ongoing traffic disruptions while roadworks, that begin next week, are carried out between Castlebar and Ballyvary.

Road surfacing works will take place on the N5 Castlebar to Ballyvary Road at Liscromwell for 3.5km from Monday, September 15 for a period of 7 weeks.

The local authority has advised that traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place. Local diversions will also be in place.
