Alert: Mayo motorists advised of ten-day road closure
The county council say that local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the works and diversion routes will be clearly signposted.
Mayo County Council has advised motorists that the R293 Ballyhaunis to Loughglynn Road will be closed from Tuesday, August 13, to Friday, August 23, to facilitate pavement overlay works.
The anticipated road closure will be during normal working hours - Monday to Friday (8am to 6pm) and Saturday (8am to 2pm).
Westbound vehicles will be diverted via R293, R325 and N83 Eastbound vehicles will be diverted via N83, R325 and R293.
The county council say that local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the works and diversion routes will be clearly signposted. Emergency access will also be maintained.
Notice is hereby given that it is the decision of @MayoCoCo to temporarily close the R293 Ballyhaunis to Loughglinn Road from Tuesday 13th August 2024 to Friday 23rd August 2024 to facilitate pavement overlay works.
