ALERT: Major update issued for popular Mayo destination
The beautiful Keem bay at Achill Island, in Co. Mayo, Ireland.
An Garda Síochána Mayo have issued an update on Keem Bay.
In a social post, they said: "We are advised by our colleagues on Achill Island, that Keem Bay car parks are at capacity, and traffic congestion is causing serious delays in the area.
"We are kindly asking the public not to travel to Keem Bay at this time. Please consider visiting the other beautiful beaches nearby, and help us keep the roads safe, and accessible for emergency vehicles.
"Thank you for your cooperation."
