ALERT: Busy Mayo road closed over emergency works

The Bohola to Foxford road has been closed to facilitate emergency works.

Mayo County Council have closed the regional road R321 (Bohola to Foxford road) to allow urgent works to be carried out on a bridge in the townlands of Bohola and Barleyhill.

The road will be closed until Monday September 15 at the earliest.

The local authority have advised that diversions are in place along the N5 to Ballyvary and the Straide road N58 to Foxford.

Mayo County Council apologise for any inconvenience.
