Active Age Sports Festival in Ballina

Hosted by Mayo Sports Partnership, the North Mayo Active Age Sports Festival 2026 took place at Ballina Sports Centre, bringing together 50 enthusiastic participants for a vibrant day of activity, connection, and fun. 

With 10% male participation, the event reflected growing engagement across the community and created an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. 

Participants had the opportunity to try a range of enjoyable activities including Pickleball, Move to Music (Dance), Better Balance, and Activator Poles, all delivered in a supportive and social setting. The atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic, with great energy and plenty of smiles as everyone embraced the spirit of celebrating sport without limitations in Ballina.
