2023 Ballina GOAL Mile raises thousands for wartorn countries

Over 500 men, women and children took part in the 2023 Ballina GOAL Mile in Belleek on Christmas Day. A fantastic €3445.45 was raised on the morning to go towards the poorest of the poor in many wartorn countries including Gaza, Ethiopia, Sudan, Syria to name but a few. If anyone still wishes to donate they can do so via the iDonate platform. Thanks to all who took part in ideal weather conditions and all who helped out in any way with the smooth running of the event: Catherine, Peter, Dean and Simon Gillespie, John McLoughlin, Mary McBrearty, Aoife Dowling, Leona Igoe, Brian, John and Marion Mattimoe.

Thanks to the businesses of Ballina who provided refreshments for those taking part.
