Moy Singers’ concert for Ballina’s 300th

Members of the Moy Singers will hold an extra special Christmas Concert this year to mark Ballina 2023.
The Moy Singers have put together an extra special concert this year to help celebrate the town of Ballina’s 300th birthday.
The Choir itself is in its 37th year and has been at the heart of choral music in Ballina for all those decades. They look forward to performing all the much-loved Christmas carols such as
and popular festive songs like .In addition to the almost 50 voices in the four-part choir, the special guests this year are the Sligo Academy of Music with their Jazz Orchestra and Sinfonietta, conducted by their acclaimed musical director, Niamh Crowley.
Niamh is a much-loved and highly respected musician having performed with the likes of Michael Bublé, Andrea Bocelli and Jose Carerras. There will also be solo pieces performed by soprano Aoife Anderson and the Moy Singers musical director, Jonathan Carter.
It will be a truly festive night of song and music and takes place on Saturday, November 25, in the Great National Hotel Ballina. Tickets are available from Choir members, The Great National Hotel, the Ballina Chamber/Tourist office and online via the choir's social media pages.
