Mayo basketball side set for big league showdown this weekend

A place in the knockout stages of the Men's U20 National League is on the line this Sunday as Merry Monk Ballina take on Galway Titans in a mouthwatering showdown.
Merry Monk sit in first in Group 3 above second placed Titans, although having played a game more. This will be Merry Monk's final game in the group phase and they know that victory all but secures their place in the knockout stages.
Titans are coming into this game with great confidence, however. They were crowned U20 National Cup champions last month, defeating Neptunes of Cork, conqueror of Merry Monk in the quarter-final stage.
Tip-off is at 2pm in Ballina Sports Complex.
