Mayo athletes to be honoured at the Westnet Mayo Athletic Awards

All roads lead to The McWilliam Hotel, Claremorris this Sunday, January 26, where The Westnet Mayo Athletic Awards will take place in with St. Colman’s Athletic Club hosting the event.
This is one of the premier sporting events in the county calendar, as athletes from all over Mayo will be honoured for their contribution to athletics during the past year.
124 awards and 81 Certificates will be presented to all athletes who won national and international medals in 2024.
This is one of the most successful years to date in Mayo athletics. Mayo is privileged to have so many fantastic athletes representing their clubs, county and country with distinction in all aspects of athletics, and it is a great privilege to see athletes from Mayo competing and winning with the best athletes in the country and abroad.
The categories will be: Special Achievement, Extraordinary, Outstanding, High Achievement, Achievement and Team Awards. List of athletes who will receive awards and or certificates:
