The launch of the 2026 Mayo AC 5k Series took place in Castlebar recently.
Mayo AC is delighted to announce that EBS, Intersport Elverys, and Shaw Commercials have joined forces as the main sponsors for this year’s series.
Their generous support is invaluable and will undoubtedly play a crucial role in ensuring the series’ success.
In addition, Mayo AC is proud to welcome the Mayo Mental Health Association as Charity Partners for this year’s events, reinforcing our commitment to promoting mental well-being within the community.
This year marks the 14th edition of the popular 5k series, which will feature five exhilarating races – all chip timed.
The series serves as the club’s primary annual fundraiser - support will be greatly appreciated.
The second race will be hosted again this year by Westport AC, and the final race (including the end of series party and prizegiving) is set to be hosted by Manulla FC who are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.
Mayo AC warmly invite everyone to enter and help make the 2026 series a memorable celebration of community, fitness, and fun!
Five 5k races will take place over five consecutive Tuesday evenings:
Castlebar (May 13), Westport (May 20), Claremorris (May 20), Ballinrobe (June 2), and Manulla (June 9).
There will be a complimentary series T-shirt for the first 150 registered online.
Registration details will be announced on the Mayo AC website in due course.
