Man (30s) dies after Kerry hit-and-run

A man in his 30s who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Co Kerry on Monday has died.
The pedestrian was brought to University Hospital Kerry with life-threatening injuries following the collision in the Tubrid More area, Ardfert, Co Kerry, on Monday March 2nd at around 9.20pm.
He was pronounced dead on Thursday morning, and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
The driver of the car left the scene before gardaí arrived.
A technical examination of the scene was completed.
Anyone with information about the incident has been asked to contact gardaí.
Anyone who travelled in the Tubrid More (Bullock Hill/Weather Well), Doon North, Lislosse, Station Road, Ardfert, area between 7.30pm and 9.30pm on Monday, March 2nd, who witnessed anything or may have camera footage, including dash cam, has been asked to contact gardaí.
Gardaí are specifically looking to talk to anyone who may have witnessed a man on the road during that period.
