Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) is notifying anglers of the closure of the Galway Fishery due to high water temperatures

An investigation is being conducted by IFI, the State agency responsible for the protection and conservation of freshwater fish and habitats, into the incident in which at least 5,000 fish have died

Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) is seeking to improve spawning grounds on a Mayo river. The organisation has lodged a planning application for the project with Mayo County Council.
