At Ennis District Court, Charlene Keenan (28) appeared in connection with being charged with the theft of the €120 Christmas tree from Tesco’s Ennis outlet at Francis Street on November 14th last.

Castlebar Rotary Club will again host its annual fundraising project, the Tree of Remembrance, from Saturday, December 16 to Saturday, December 23. Since this fundraising event started in 2008, it has raised over €45,000 for local charities.
