€34 million was collected from the M50 tolls in the first two months of this year. 

At Dublin District Court on Monday, Judge Anthony Halpin said he had to send a message out.

Last week, Minister for Transport Darragh O’Brien said that "there isn’t a quick fix solution for the M50".

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) approved these increases in tolls for 2024, in October 2023.
