A 92-year-old man will stand trial next month accused of careless driving causing the death of a four-year-old Ballina girl in a caravan park in Enniscrone last year.

A motorist, who failed to report a collision with a parked car and made amends by paying for the damage and writing a letter of apology to the owner, has been fined €300.
