The teenager sealed victory after Moises Caicedo’s opener was cancelled out by Cody Gakpo in a match watched by pop star Madonna.

The singer watched Sir Elton perform Little Richard’s Bible with Brandi Carlile on Saturday Night Live.

Her brother – who was an an artist, dancer and designer – died age 63 earlier this month in Michigan after being diagnosed with cancer.

It was the last show of The Celebration Tour, which kicked off in October in London.
