The Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs has reiterated advice to Irish citizens in the Middle East to ‘stay sheltered’.

Emma Little-Pengelly said that stability in the Middle East ‘does not come from indulging extremism and terrorism’.

Foreign Affairs Minister Helen McEntee said there are currently ‘no evacuation routes recommended for Gulf countries’.
