The Government has been accused of a ‘two-fingered salute’ to an entire generation after it shared advice to adults moving in with their parents.

Simon Harris said that further housing proposals will be brought to Cabinet next week.

James Browne said rents are ‘way too high’ as he unveiled a new package of rent controls.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin said these were the ‘strongest set of rent protection measures we’ve ever had in the history of the state’.
