Connacht, as well as counties Cavan, Donegal, and Longford, will be under a status yellow rain warning from 12pm until midnight on Sunday.

Met Éireann said those in Cork and Waterford can expect heavy rain and possible thundery downpours during the orange rain warning.

Galway and Mayo are included in one warning that expires at 9pm Friday.
