Fianna Fáil increased its lead over Fine Gael to 10 seats in November’s vote.

In a statement, Fine Gael said it and Fianna Fáil had met again and had made "progress on various issues".

The Independent TD for Kerry said the meeting lasted an hour and it was “productive and positive”.
