Coast Guard members brought a Garda and the box to the island by boat yesterday at 8.15am and collected them later in the day, just after 6pm.

An Inishbiggle Island man who was a well-known campaigner died tragically after a car crash on Friday evening. The vehicle being driven by Christy Henry veered off the road and entered a lake at about 8. 30pm.

The incident occurred at around 8.30pm on Friday at Inishbiggle Island.
