Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 60s died after a two-car collision in Westmeath.

The crash claimed the life of Niall Crosby, as well as that of another man who is understood to be from eastern Europe.

The single-engine aircraft crashed into a farm building near Killucan about 3.30pm on Tuesday.
