It is the prosecution case that murder accused Derek Boyd stabbed Mark Carroll with the intention of killing him or causing him serious harm.

Derek Boyd has gone on trial at the Central Criminal Court charged with the murder of Mark Carroll, while his partner Chantelle Harcourt stands accused of impeding his prosecution.

The 34-year-old died following an incident in Finglas, Dublin 11, on Sunday, June 9th 2024.
