A man was seriously injured during an incident at a boxing event in County Roscommon on Friday night, Gardai have confirmed. The man received medical treatment at the scene and was later transferred to hospital.

The incident broke out at the National Boy 4 Championships being held in Castlerea, Co Roscommon on Friday evening
