Cork City and County Councils received over 14,000 pothole complaints in the last three years

The number of people paid compensation by Meath County Council has risen to 218 last year, up from 80 who sought recompense from damaged tyres and wheels in 2020.

Mayo County Council had 90 public liability claims last year. Councillors requested a breakdown of the claims in 2023 with council management providing a breakdown by municipal district.
