An appeal board of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has stripped Senegal of the Africa Cup of Nations crown and awarded it to Morocco.

Morocco were awarded victory following an appeal decision on Tuesday evening.

The team were led off the field by head coach Pape Thiaw after hosts Morocco were awarded a penalty in the eighth minute of stoppage time.

The former Liverpool forward persuaded his team mates to return to the pitch in Rabat.

Brahim Diaz missed a stoppage time spot-kick as the hosts faltered.
