TYs trip to Munich

The transition year students from Jesus and Mary Secondary School, Enniscrone, went to Munich on their school tour with Ms Loughney, Ms Corr, Ms Timmons and Ms Gilroy. After an early start at Dublin Airport the TYs landed in Munich, ready to explore. They kicked off their trip with a walking tour of the city, taking in its stunning architecture, historic sites, and vibrant atmosphere. Their last day was one of highs and lows. Students went on an educational and emotionally striking experience to Dachau concentration camp. It was a sobering and important tour, delivered by an excellent tour guide, who truly helped to communicate information and understanding about the harrowing events that took place there.

The day finished on a high in Therme Erding Water Park, the largest thermal spa in the world, where they had a fantastic time in the pools and on the 27 different slides. They all had a ball and created lasting memories.
