Knockmore

The late Tony Kelly

We extend our deepest sympathy to the family of the late Tony Kelly, Valspark, Ballyglunin, Tuam and late of Knockmore. Tony passed away peacefully on January 26, at his residence surrounded by his family. His 12 noon Requiem Mass was celebrated on the following Monday in the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Brooklodge. He was laid to rest afterwards in the nearby cemetery.

Tony was beloved husband of Josephine and father of Sharon, Susan and the late Laura. He was born in Knockmore to parents the late Mike and Barbara Kelly and was a member of a family of eight, five boys and three girls. Many from his native Knockmore recalled many memories of Tony during the week and his many return journeys there for many family occasions that were always full of music, fun and laughter. His presence in the lives of many will be sadly missed but, especially by his beloved wife Josephine, daughters Sharon and Susan, his adored grandchildren and his last remaining family sibling, his sister Beatrice. Tony was pre-deceased by his parents Mike and Barbara, his daughter Laura, sisters Mary and Barbara, brothers John, Mikey, Noel and Roy, sons-in-law, his many nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. May he now rest in peace.

The late Michael Moyles

It was with great sadness at the weekend that we learned of the passing of Michael Moyles, Garrynagran, Moygownagh. Michael was an inspiration, fighting his disease with courage, strength and positivity. Michael was a much valued and respected member of the Moygownagh community. He was held in high regard by all who knew him, and as a very hardworking and very capable farmer, a good neighbour and friend to all.

Deepest sympathy is extended to his wife Evelyn, daughters Aisling and Michelle, sisters Julianne and Catherine, brothers Patrick, Val and George extended family and friends.
