There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club lotto jackpot on Saturday night, September 7, in Cooneys, when the numbers drawn were 1, 11, 20 and 33. One ticket matched three numbers Martin and Olivia Donohue, Fotish, Crossmolina, and they won €150. The jackpot in the latest draw which was held on Saturday, September 14, was €5,550.

Congratulations to Sinead Heffernan and Padric Dunn, Co Laois, who won €200 in the Mayo GAA Club Development draw in association with the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers Club on Saturday, September 7. The draw took place in Achill.
This was a very entertaining U17 grading League Division 1 game in Tiernan’s Park on Sunday week with a good spread of scorers for Crosssmolina from Oisin Deane, Esmond Maughan, Kobe McDonald and Ardnaree was best served by Conor Connolly, Oisin Hefferon, Dylan Sweeney and Nathan Ruddy. The final score was Crossmolina 4-18 Ardnaree 3-10.

Templemary National School, are having their annual clothes collection which will run from Monday, September 16, to Friday, September 27. The collection drop-off point is at Killala Post Office (please use the double doors beside the post office front door), between the hours of 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday only. There will also be a drop-off time at Templemary School on Thursday, September19, from 7 to 9pm. Mens, ladies and childrens clothing, paired shoes (tied together), handbags, hats, scarves, ties, belts and soft toys are all accepted.
There was no jackpot winner on September 11, when the numbers drawn were; 14, 15, 22 and 27. Consolation prizes went to Breda McGuire, Ronnie Devers and Vincent McDonnell. The jackpot this week is €7650. Tickets are sold locally.

Ardagh GAA Club officials are organising a cash for clothes collection in the coming weeks. If anyone has clothes for recycling they can drop the clothes in black refuse bags into the away dressing rooms which will be unlocked from 10am to 6pm on Saturday, September 28. The collection is part of the club's ongoing fundraising events and is a method for the club to raise some vital finance to help with on and off pitch and club development. Those wishing to support the event are asked to collect any old/worn clothes in clean and wearable condition; used shoes, jackets, curtains, towels and bag the items in black refuse bags. It's important to stress that no pillows, quilts, books or toys will be accepted.
Parish priest, Fr. Pat Munnelly, has expressed his sincere gratitude to all who are supporting the current church appeal fund and those who have given donations towards the fund to date.
Ardmoy U-13 footballers had a goal to spare in their victory over Balla in last week's Mayo U13 division 3 grading league. On a 4-13 to 3-13 scoreline Ardmoy had the better of the exchanges against their central Mayo opponents.

Thursday night last saw the Moygownagh Ramblers Group return to the field after their summer recess. Looking back and moving forward, produced and distributed by Pauline Mahon, is a detailed diary of the accomplishments of the Ramblers Group, from its inception to the present day. It came as a surprise, upon summarising the diary, how much the Ramblers have achieved, as a group in a short space of time.
