A wonderful day was had at Mount Pleasant NS recently with the Lough Carra LIFE Project, where Annmarie Meaney, Surface Water Officer, and Breda Hughes, Community Administrator, delivered an engaging presentation on the important work of the LIFE Project and how its educational programme helps promote and improve water quality.
The children were incredibly interactive, enthusiastic, and engaged throughout the session. It was fantastic to see their interest in learning about local habitats, wildlife, and the importance of protecting Lough Carra. By educating children about nature and water quality from a young age, we can inspire future generations to care for and protect this special lake.
