Remembering John

Wishing the very best of luck to the Barrett family from Seaside Belmullet with their special fundraising event taking place on Saturday, June 6, in aid of Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation. This event is being held in memory of their beloved dad John, who received wonderful care in the hospice in Castlebar. In a truly fitting tribute, the family will take part in a “Lawnmower Walk” inspired by John, who was well known for keeping local green areas neat and tidy with his trusty lawnmower.

Participants can join along the route for all or part of the 15.7km journey from John’s birthplace in Glencastle to his final resting place. Afterwards, there will be refreshments and a raffle with some fantastic prizes including hotel vouchers, spa experiences and family days out. It is a beautiful way to honour John’s memory while supporting local hospice care.Donations can be made to; https://www.idonate.ie/event/lawn.
