MG Ireland has announced 242 special offers on a range of models, including the MG5.
Owning a car is vital to Irish life, according to a recent survey undertaken by AA Ireland.
Two-thirds of Irish drivers own their car outright, and almost three out of four own a car that is more than five years old.
The latest AA Ireland Customer Opinion Survey also found that half of respondents drive no more than 10,000km a year, and six in ten motorists have paid less than €20,000 for their car. Only about 10% of car buyers paid more than €40,000 for their car.
The Irish car Parc is now near to 2.5 million vehicles, but only 4% of respondents yet own an electric car, while 9% are driving hybrids. When it comes to replacing their current car, most respondents are open to the idea of electrification: the majority (28%) will be considering buying a hybrid, 26% a diesel and 20% petrol.
Some 42% of survey respondents spend €250 to €500 annually on vehicle maintenance and 94% claimed to have fully comprehensive insurance cover.
The survey also suggested that ‘a die-hard’ 14% of existing car owners will drive their cars into the ground, only replacing it once they’ve wrung every last kilometre out of it.
MG Ireland has announced 242 special offers across its vehicle line-up, including the MG4, MG ZS, and MG5.
The offers include 0% finance or €4,000 off RRP on the MG4 EV Standard Range car, giving a start price of €25,995, and making the MG ZS EV Standard Range available from €31,495.
The MG5 EV Long Range Excite is now offered from €29,995.
The 242 special offers are available for a limited time only with limited stocks.
