Kia reveals EV3 with up to 605km range

The new car, the smallest EV from Kia, follows the design of Kia's large EV9 electric car.
Kia Ireland has launched its new EV3 compact electric SUV with up to 605kms of electric range,
Prices start at €36,790.

Customers can choose from three trims and two battery versions, a 58.3 kWh Standard with 204hp and 81.4 kWh Long Range also with 20hp; both are available as FWD vehicles.
The smaller battery version has a rated range of 436km while the long-range battery - standard in the two higher-specced cars - is rated at up to 605km (590km in real time).
Charging capability from 10-80% capacity is 29 minutes at fast-charging units.
All EV3 owners will be offered a free home-charging callbox in association with Energy.
Kia Ireland is projecting sales of up to 800 units but this could rise with demand.
