GAA Watch: Cavan footballer Killian Clarke and Westmeath hurler Tommy Doyle retire

Cavan footballer Killian Clarke and former Westmeath hurling captain Tommy Doyle have both called time on their inter-county careers.
32-year-old Killian Clarke, who played in defence, midfield and the forwards, won Ulster medals with his county at senior, under-21 and minor levels.
He made made 134 appearances for the Breffni County, having made his senior debut in 2012.
Cavan GAA praised Clarke for the "dedication and commitment" he showed during his 13-year inter-county football career after he informed incoming manager Dermot McCabe that he will not be returning in 2026.

Former Westmeath hurling captain Tommy Doyle has also called time on his 13-year inter-county career.
The Lough Lene Gaels defender was part of the 2021 Joe McDonagh Cup winning team, and he also collected two Division Two League medals.
Doyle said it is a 'bittersweet' moment to step away, as Westmeath hurling gave him "some of the best days" of his life.
