It seems Dermot Kennedy's Aviva Stadium shows are to be an all-Irish affair, as folk trio Amble and Dublin musician Aaron Rowe have been announced as support acts.
Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Kennedy plays Dublin's Aviva Stadium on July 11th and 12th 2026 - the first Irish solo artist to play one, and two, shows at the venue.
Kennedy announced his third album, The Weight of the Woods, this week, set for release on March 27th via Island Records.
The album announcement has been accompanied by the release of its lead single Funeral, and comes ahead of Kennedy's largest headline tour to date in May and June 2026.
The singer/songwriter is to play his biggest venues yet across Europe, before a run of six UK arena shows, including a return to London's O2 on June 5th, before his headline shows at the Aviva in July.

Kennedy is known for passionate and powerful live performances, and the shows are to feature favourites spanning his discography alongside new material to be released in 2026.
Amble's rise from pub gigs to sold-out arenas has been rapid since they formed in late 2022.
Their debut album, Reverie, topped the Irish Album Chart across four non-consecutive weeks.
Their music has clocked up over 115 million streams globally, and they sold over 100,000 tickets worldwide last year.
The trio, consisting of Robbie Cunningham, Oisín McCaffrey and Ross McNerney, have built a reputation for their songwriting, acoustic arrangements, and captivating live performances.
Amble will also support Kennedy on his 2026 Europe and UK tour.
Fast-rising Dublin singer/songwriter Aaron Rowe is also joining Kennedy as a special guest in Dublin, after a breakthrough year that has seen his profile skyrocket.
Having supported Lewis Capaldi on tour, his summer included a Glastonbury debut, a mainstage slot at Electric Picnic, and performances supporting Ed Sheeran, who is also set to support on his 2026 Australia, New Zealand, and North America Loop Tour.
Tickets for Dermot Kennedy's concerts at the Aviva Stadium are on sale now, with the July 11th show already sold out.
Ticket prices for July 12th range from €81.25 to €111.25, subject to a 12.5 per cent Ticketmaster service charge per ticket (max €10.50).
