Dynamic duo to bring new play to the West

TALENT and creativity are there in abundance when it comes to Liam Horan and John Corless. Individually, the south Mayo men have made their names across the length and breadth of Ireland. Now, Liam and John have come together to write, produce, direct and star in a brand new play.
Their new company, Half Solid Productions, will work as a vehicle for new theatre and other shows emanating from their west of Ireland base. Their first play, The Pull, will be staged across the west of Ireland later this year.
The duo first sat down together to discuss the possibility of establishing a theatre company some six months ago. Realising their shared interests and passions, Liam and John began to bounce ideas off each other and soon discovered that they were able to sit down in the same room and collaborate in writing a play.
